Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Mama’s Hen House! We’re so happy you’re here. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

1. Hatching Eggs

All hatching eggs are collected from our breeding flocks and carefully selected, packaged, and shipped. We take pride in providing quality hatching eggs and maintaining healthy breeding flocks.

2. Shipping & Handling

Hatching eggs are packaged with care to help protect them during transit. Once packages are accepted by the shipping carrier, delays, rough handling, temperature changes, and other shipping conditions are outside our control.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.

3. Hatch Rate Disclaimer

Hatching eggs are living, delicate products. Hatch rates can be affected by shipping, incubation practices, equipment, and environmental conditions.

We cannot guarantee hatch rates or successful development.

4. Refunds & Replacements

Due to the delicate and perishable nature of hatching eggs, all sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We do not offer refunds or replacements for unsuccessful hatches or incubation-related losses.

If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographs of the packaging and damaged eggs so we can review the situation.

5. Egg Color & Breed Expectations

Eggshell colors, bloom intensity, and patterns naturally vary from hen to hen and throughout laying cycles.

Photos are examples of our breeding flock’s eggs and do not guarantee identical coloring.

We cannot guarantee the future egg color, appearance, or characteristics of chicks hatched from purchased eggs.

6. Order Processing

Orders are fulfilled based on egg availability and laying schedules. Because we work with live animals, collection and shipping dates may vary.

We will communicate significant changes to your expected shipping schedule.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for having appropriate incubation equipment, understanding proper incubation practices, and following applicable local laws regarding poultry ownership.

8. Agreement

By purchasing from Mama’s Hen House, you acknowledge the natural risks associated with shipped hatching eggs and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Thank you for supporting our little patch of wild! 🌼🤎
